This body of work serves as a visual travelogue, capturing some
memorable places I've visited over the years. In my world 'exotic'
could be any place outside New York City. Yet the most captivating
places are often far away, and some, a consuming trek to reach.
Such treks include hiking the Napali trail through the lush tropics
of Kauai, or setting eyes on the Gulf of California, after driving
hours through the Baja desert. There's the big sky of the Southwest,
where one could see the sun melting into the horizon. Dramatic vistas,
variety of color & nature, unencumbered by man made structures,
all appear exotic to my New Yorker sensibility.
