Urban miniatures are a series of three-dimensional constructions.
The constructions are based on former paintings. My large canvases
aim for monumentality, while the miniatures suggest intimacy. In
essence, the models are small scale paintings explored three-dimensionally.
The result I look for portrays a scene in such a way that it enters
into the surreal and whimsical. |
